# list\_object\_dashboards — List object dashboards

List object dashboards

List object dashboards

## What it does

List the dashboards pinned on a specific object/entity (the dashboards whose global filter is set to that object), resolved by the object's stable uuid.

**When to use:** the user wants the dashboards for a specific gene/disease/entity ("which dashboards are pinned on MTOR?") and you have that object's uuid; you have an object uuid (from a search\_entities / get\_entity hit) and want its dashboards.

**When NOT to use:** you want ALL the org's dashboards, not those tied to one object — use list\_dashboards; you have a NAME, not a uuid — resolve it with search\_entities first, then call this; you want the widgets of one dashboard — use get\_dashboard(dashboardId).

**Parameters:**

* `objectId` — the object's stable uuid (from a search\_entities / get\_entity hit). Required — it resolves any object via the universal base label. A uuid that resolves to no node returns a 404.

**Returns:** An object { object, dashboards, count }. `object` echoes the resolved node ({ uuid, displayName, dbLabels }) so you can confirm which entity was matched. Each dashboard row is the same shape list\_dashboards returns: uuid (pass to get\_dashboard), displayName, description (or null), widgetCount, dateUpdated, dateCreated. `count` is the number of pinned dashboards. A valid object with no pinned dashboards returns an empty list (count 0) — a successful empty, not an error. A uuid that resolves to no object returns a 404 Not Found error (isError).

## Parameters

| Parameter  | Type   | Required | Description                                                                                                                                                                          |
| ---------- | ------ | -------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| `objectId` | string | yes | the object's stable uuid (from a search\_entities / get\_entity hit). Required — it resolves any object via the universal base label. A uuid that resolves to no node returns a 404. |

## Response

```ts
{
  object: {
    uuid: string;
    displayName: string | null;
    dbLabels: string[];
  };
  dashboards: Array<{
    uuid: string;
    displayName: string | null;
    description: string | null;
    widgetCount: number;
    dateUpdated: string | null;
    dateCreated: string | null;
  }>;
  count: number;
}
```

## Example

```json
// list_object_dashboards({"objectId":"ENSG00000143217"})
{
  "objectId": "ENSG00000143217"
}
